Calamus is not only a professional typesetting and layout system, but thanks to Calipso 3 much more compatible than many others. This is because you can import any PDF documents with Calipso 3, the PDF Import module for Calamus, into Calamus and edit it as a Calamus document then. Images are imported in fine data resolution, not as preview! Vector graphics are WYSIWYG vector graphics, texts are shown as vector texts which avoids the feared wrapping errors due to wrong fonts right from the beginning.

Calipso 3 uses a single function group right now where you find all functions for comfortable importing of PDFs.
