2009-01-21: Indexer PRO v3.00 - faster and better

Indexer PRO Our optional Calamus module Indexer PRO has been completely redesigned and is now available in a new, even more powerful version.

Edit Index Dictionary

The changes in version 3.00 [2009-01-21]:
  • New: Index generating is twice as fast as before.
  • New: [160] Case-sensitive recognition is supported now as an option.
  • New: The dialog Edit Index Dictionary is completely redesigned and even more easily operably.
  • New: Index dictionary entry doublettes are now removed automatically.
  • New: List entries can now have 80 characters instead of 72.
  • New: The parameters file name follows the module file name, using the extension .PAR (old INDEXER.SET files can still be read).
  • New: The parameters of the dialog Generate index are now saved in the parameters file.
  • New: [545] In all dialog lists you can now jump to the first entry of a distinct letter by simply pressing the relevant key. Keyboard navigation has also been enhanced.
  • Fix: Fixed a serious error in the recognition of page numbers for found entries.
  • Fix: Fixed various internal errors in the memory management fixed.
  • Fix: When saving a dictionary, the extension .IND will now be attached automatically.
  • Fix: Saving selected entries of a dictionary can be used again.
  • Fix: The function Find unknown words can finally be cancelled as promised by the time bar.
  • Fix: Fixed a bug in representation of virtual page numbers in the function panel.
  • Fix: [445] Words which contain control codes (like e.g. text styles, kerning, etc.) were not recognized.
  • Fix: [446] When single marked entries are taken into the dictionary, the automatic hyphenation at the end of a line is no longer taken.

    • All Calamus users who want to set books with glossaries or have to create long index lists, are invited to try this new module.
