2005-01-10: Calipso 3.13

The last reported bugs in Calipso 3 have been fixed now for v3.13.

If you already use Calipso 3, please find your current version of Calipso 3 in your private download area in My Calamus.

Load any PDF document directly in Calamus and edit it in your document layout. Calipso 3 can be used easily and brings any PDF documents into your Calamus document at a glance. Many programs create PDF files today (we do not have to name them, don't we?). Using Calipso 3 you can open them all in Calamus — and really edit everything in it.

Calipso developer Wolfgang Domröse has found an interesting way how to make text editable from imported PDF files. We better do not tell you how he has been swearing about the PDF format. PDF cannot even tell you a simple sentence at once. It was not created for offering this. But since Calipso 3.10 you can chose whether to get PDF text in WYSIWYG vector text frames or to edit the contained text in Calamus text frames (with the current text style assigned).
