2005-01-18: TTF Importer loads symbol fonts again

After we had changed the load method for TrueType fonts in Calamus SL2003 R3, symbol fonts were no longer recognized.

TrueType Fontloader has been corrected and supports symbol fonts again. Although the TTF Loader is part of the Calamus SL standard package, you do not have to wait for the next Calamus release. Simply download the updated TTF Importer from our website now.

TrueType Fontloader: The changes in version 2.01 [2005-01-18]:

Fix: [113] Symbol fonts can be loaded again.
Fix: Successless loading of PFB fonts (PostScript Type 1 fonts) is handled right.
Fix: Wrong TTF (TrueType fonts) no longer cause memory errors.

Get the current TTF Importer v2.01 right here. Calamus SL2003 R3 is required for this updated version!

Being busy with this stuff, we fixed some bugs in the PostScript Type 1 fontloader, too.
